Introduction

After Asset Lists are created, Renewal Engineers review and prepare them for customer validation using the Asset List Console.

At this stage, your role as a Renewal Manager is to ensure that Asset Lists are complete, validated, and ready to move forward to pricing.

What Happens in This Step

Renewal Engineers:

  • Review Asset Lists and associated items
  • Apply filters and analyze data for completeness
  • Perform co-term analysis where required
  • Export Asset Lists for customer validation
  • Update Asset Lists based on customer feedback (including uploading enriched Asset Lists)

This step ensures that the renewal scope is finalized and approved before pricing.

For detailed steps, refer to: Asset List Review and Validation – Renewal Engineer Guide

Your Role as a Renewal Manager

At this stage, you focus on:

  • Tracking whether Asset Lists are sent for customer validation
  • Monitoring progress toward customer approval
  • Ensuring updates (including enriched uploads) are completed on time
  • Identifying delays before pricing readiness

What to Watch For

  • Asset Lists not yet shared with customers
  • Delays in customer validation or feedback incorporation
  • Frequent rework or multiple updates to Asset Lists
  • Asset Lists not ready for pricing despite nearing deadlines

Summary

Asset List validation is a key checkpoint before pricing. While Renewal Engineers manage execution, you ensure that Asset Lists are validated, updated, and ready to progress without delays.
