The Partner Renewal Workspace (PrW) simplifies contract renewals by breaking them into clear workflows.

The renewal process ensures uninterrupted service, and allows for co-terming, identify potential product upgrades, or request for change in service levels.

1. Navigate to the Renewal Project Console

The Renewal Engineer’s dashboard contains charts that show renewal timelines and accounts. From here, you can:

Click a chart slice (e.g., for a specific account or 30/60/90 day window) to auto-navigate to the Renewal Project Console, filtered by that selection.

Alternatively, launch the console directly from the App Launcher and apply filters (e.g., Account, Renewal Date) to find your assigned projects.

This flexibility allows you to quickly narrow down which projects require immediate attention.

2. Understanding the Renewal Project Console

The Renewal Project Console is your command center for acting on assigned renewals.

Each project row includes one or more Internal Contracts and shows key details like:

  • Account Name
  • Project and IC Numbers
  • Contract Expiry Date
  • Number of Assets
  • Stage of renewal (e.g., Assigned, In Progress)
  • Assets/Contract Items in different stages such as due for renewal, quoted, sent for approval, pricing etc

You can:

✅ Use top filters (Account, Stage, Renewal Date)
✅ Apply column filters for finer control (e.g., by expiration date)
✅ Collapse or expand project rows for a clearer view

This console helps you organize, prioritize, and prepare to take action on contracts.

3. Taking Actions in Renewal Project Console

When you're ready to act on contract- you can use the gear icon next to the Project name or specific IC record to open the IC Console

Opening from the Project shows all ICs under it.

Opening from a specific IC shows only that contract in IC console

You can also use the arrow icon next to IC name to open individual ICs directly

Select multiple ICs and click the menu bar to open all selected ICs in one go within a single renewal project.

Once in the IC Console, you’ll be able to analyze individual internal contracts and item-level details in them.

You can further perform co-termination analysis and begin creating Asset Lists — this will be covered in the upcoming tutorials.

Summary

In this step of your journey as a Renewal Engineer, you:

  • Accessed your assigned Renewal Projects via the dashboard or app launcher
  • Explored project details and internal contracts grouped by customer
  • Used filters and sorting options to prioritize work
  • Learned how to move seamlessly to the IC Console for further processing

Now that you’ve located and reviewed your assigned contracts, the next step is to analyze the ICs and select items to create Asset Lists.
